 高血壓初期無明顯症狀 出現併發症已損傷器官

隨著年齡增長，罹患高血壓的人越來越多。心臟內科醫師王敏雄昨日表示，高血壓開始發病時通常沒有明顯症狀，因此很多病患根本不知道血壓高是嚴重問題，更不用說初期就檢查治療；等到發生併發症如腦中風、心肌梗塞、心衰竭、腎衰竭、視網膜出血等器官傷害，身體健康遭到嚴重威脅時已經太晚。

王醫師指出，事實上，年齡超過四十歲以上罹患高血壓的人不在少數，病患當中只有部分人士定期服藥控制、就醫追蹤治療。部分病人雖然知道血壓太高，但是只有出現頭痛、噁心、氣促、胸悶等不適症，才會服用降血壓藥或在門診看幾次，一旦症狀減輕，雖然血壓仍高，卻不再繼續服藥。

王敏雄醫師指出，大部份高血壓病人都沒有明顯症狀，少數偶然可能出現症狀，甚至出現臉部泛紅、盜汗、胸部不適、呼吸不暢等，以致大多數病人都不屑量測血壓，甚至部分患者也不願長期按時服藥控制血壓。其實若是等到高血壓產生嚴重併發症，往往身體重要器官已經受到損傷。

嚴重的併發症產生部位包括心臟、腦部、腎臟、眼睛等，其中，倘若出現在眼睛，高血壓可能引起視網膜出血及失明；倘若出現在血管，高血壓可能導致周邊血管循環不良，若是影響主動脈，更可造成主動脈廔或主動脈剝離及面臨死亡；倘，高血壓亦是導致慢性腎衰竭常見原因之一。

倘若出現在心臟，高血壓可說是冠心病及心臟衰竭危險因子及誘發因素，所以很可能造成心肌梗塞、心臟擴大、心臟衰竭、心肌病變、心律不整及面臨死亡；倘若出現在腦部，高血壓算是腦中風危險因子及誘發因素，所以可以引起腦血管破裂，甚至產生昏迷及死亡。
